Screwtape is a character in the book The Screwtape Letters, written by author C. S. Lewis. A devil, Screwtape holds the position of Senior Tempter and Undersecretary of his department. A subtle creature, creature, he appears to understand very well the nature of human minds and weaknesses- although nothing about love. He also has a way with words, and thinks little of Slubgob, a professor at Tempters' Training College for Young Devils, and is prone to sarcasm. His correspondence with his nephew, the Junior Tempter Wormwood, concerning Wormwood's attempts to get an individual to sin is the content of Lewis' book.
Screwtape does not belong to me, he belongs to C. S. Lewis' estate I'm sure. This journal is for role playing purposes and makes no money. Also, all these images of John Cleese, who does a crack up job reading the character on the audio book.
